Thanks for your interest in the ways you can volunteer to support our school through the PTSA. Not all roles listed below are open … and some are more important to fill than others. Many positions can be shared or otherwise adjusted.

Ensure translation of PTSA’s major written materials and live translation at Community Meetings; collaborate on outreach efforts

Coordinate w/admin on meet’n’greet party for families (and some staff). Can include DJ, community partners (tabling) & games/activities. Self-guided tours.

Reflections Coordinator (arts contest)

National PTA arts-oriented contest that includes rounds at school, city, state & national level. Entries required by late fall.

8th Grade Promotion Lead

Coordinate with Admin & other vols on Promotion: invitations, breakfast, post-ceremony snacks, various tasks

Staff Appreciation Lead

Coordinate Staff Appreciation Week; Could also lead other appreciation; meals for evening events (Curric Night, Nov. Arena Confs, Feb. Student-Led Confs)

School Tours & Info Nights Lead

Starting in October, schedule, promote and organize 2 info nights and 3 tours [may be altered by TAF transition]
