This budget was first approved by the PTSA Board in June 2020 and re-approved with minor modifications in October 2020. It was approved without changes by PTSA membership at the Oct. 21, 2020, Community (General) Meeting.

At the meeting, PTSA Treasurer Brenda Price noted that the $156,000 spending plan follows the pattern of recent years, with the understanding that adjustments are likely so the Board can better meet the needs of the community during this time of pandemic and remote learning. For example, the budget still includes funding for some in-person programs that may not be possible, or that will require less support if they take place online.

Also, the budget envisions spending of some of the reserve dollars that were built up in earlier years because of the possibility that the school would no longer receive Seattle Families Education, Preschool, and Promise (FEPP) levy money starting in 2020-21. However, the school was re-approved earlier this year for several more years of levy funding.
