WMS families are invited to learn more about STEM by TAF’s project-based learning model during two sessions, 11-noon and 5-6 pm on Thursday, May 6.
Sign up to receive Zoom links for the event. (Registration required.)
The event will feature Alec McQuinn, Makerspace coordinator, and Dylan Withrow, Teacher Science Partnership (TSP) coordinator.
Alec will show parents and guardians how to use a 3D printer and will print an object based off attendees’ input. Dylan will then feature a current Washington student’s escape room. He will moderate as the student receives attendees’ feedback on what options to select to “escape the room.”
Each session will last 20 minutes and leave 5-10 minutes for questions.
