WMS Weekend Food Program & Food Pantry

NOTE: The Husky Pantry was reactivated in April 2021. During the pandemic, the School District  provided weekend food to families in need.

Junior Husky Packs Weekend Food Program is a weekly food distribution program designed to support WMS students. We aim to provide extra food for children who would otherwise have difficulty getting access to food over the weekend. Students can pick up a bag of essential food items from the Health Center each Friday afternoon while school is in session. Students can opt-in or opt-out at any time during the school year. Participant information is confidential.

Donations?  All donations benefit WMS students.  At this time WMS is getting food from the Backpack Brigade.  We will reach out to our WMS community when items are needed for pop-up events.

Suggested donations:

    • Breakfast items
    • Hygiene items

Have a bit of time to volunteer?  If interested in volunteering at pop-up events, please let us know.

In need?  Request confidential assistance from the school, at 206-252-2600
