After-school programs at WMS are run by Seattle Parks and Recreation with funding primarily from Seattle’s Families, Education, Pre-school and Promise Levy. The program is named “HOST,” for Huskies Out of School Time.
For 2021-22, most of our HOST programs are in-person with the exception of a few virtual options.
- Session 1: October 11th – January 13th
- Session 2: March 7th – May 26th
Activities will take place from 3:45 – 5:15 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and 2:30 – 4:00 PM on Wednesdays See links below for specific days for each activity. Activities are free to students.

HOST programs are funded primarily by the City of Seattle Families & Education Levy, with extra support from the Washington PTSA when needed.
Recommended donation is $50 per class registration. Your donations ensure a wide variety of programs will continue to be offered for all students, regardless of financial status.
