Washington Middle School is excited to welcome families of current 5th grade students to its upcoming Information Night! This event includes dinner, an overview of core and elective classes, information about student life and support services, and a Q&A panel with current students. It’s an opportunity to learn what WMS has to offer and get a feel for the school community. See the flyer below for details!

Fall is here, and we’re collecting new or gently used waterproof coats (with hoods preferred) for the Washington Middle School Clothing Closet. Your donations help ensure every student stays warm and comfortable this season.

The PTSA meets on 1st Mondays all year starting in October. PTSA Meetings are meant to build community and will be on a rotation of in person dinners in the WMS library and online Zoom meetings, with topics ranging from parental education to school concerns/issues. Join us: get to know other parents and see some of your children’s teachers and administrators.
Wednesday, September 3rd, bell time – 8:55am-3:45pm. Early release (2:30pm bell time) will occur every Wednesday except for the first week of school.
Thursday, August 28th from 5:30-7:30pm on the blacktop at WMS
Come eat dinner, bring gently used or new school supplies to donate, and get more information on all things Washington Middle School.
The PTSA will be collecting gently used and new supplies at the Back to School event on August 28th. Drop them off at the PTSA table and thank you in advance for donating! We are looking for the following:
hosted by BARC (Belonging and Relationship Crew)
Tuesday, September 2 from 1-4pm at the Washington Middle School Gym.
Parents, drop off your 6th graders and join the PTSA outside the gym for a lemonade mixer to hear from other parents about their WMS experience, how to be involved in the WMS community, and to meet Principal Manriquez.
Before we begin the 2025-2026 school year, let’s get the campus ready for kids! We are looking for volunteers (students, families, friends and neighbors) to help both inside and outside WMS. Come join us on Sunday, August 24 from 3-6 PM. If you can volunteer for a portion of the time, sign up here.
Here are a few of the projects we have in mind:
1. Yardwork in the courtyard
2. Wipe hallway walls
3. Trash clean-up around campus
